Tender mercies...

I am so grateful for the Lord's tender mercies... I am thankful for a living prophet and apostles on the earth. I NEED them! We are so blessed to be able to have these representatives of Jesus Christ to learn from.

Saturday was a bad day for me - as a matter of fact it was one in many bad days for me. I have been in quite the funk lately - nothing serious - just a funk. I know that it will pass soon. Anyway, Saturday was a bad day, and I absolutely did not feel like getting dressed up and going to church for4 hours to pretend that I felt great. I didn't feel like putting on a happy face. So, I stayed home and watched the Relief Society broadcast on the internet. I am SO GLAD that I did. I felt like President Uchtdorf was speaking directly to me - that his talk was written expressly for me. I am so glad that I stayed home so that I could more fully hear this talk and take his counsel to heart. It is also comforting to know that so many other women also felt that this talk was written for them. We are not in this alone! I am grateful for angel friends who called me and missed me when I didn't show up - I feel loved.
